Welcome to the Starting 5ive Basketball Organization's premier site for dedicated athletes and their families. The Starting 5ive Basketball Organization is a grassroots non-profit program that offers mentorship, development and improvement of individual and  team skills, as well as promotes good sportsmanship, team spirit, and encourage club loyalty.  The organization demands a high  degree of ethical conduct by all its coaches, players, volunteers, and parents so that it provides a good example for the community, opponents, and its participants, thus helping their growth  to adulthood.  By accomplishing these goals, the Starting 5ive Basketball Organization will provide players with additional exposure to the game of basketball, thereby enhancing their opportunity to play at the junior high, high school and/or collegiate levels.

                                                 OUR MISSION
The primary goal of the Starting 5ive and its coaches are to develop fundamentally, complete players who will be prepared to succeed immediately at the collegiate level.  All Starting 5ive coaches are experienced, knowledgeable professionals who have proven ability to teach and develop young athletes. Throughout the training process your son will be encouraged, valued, and respected, and his welfare and success will always be a primary concern. Our coaches strive to improve every facet of every player's game, and then to put each player in a position where he can best display his strengths to college coaches.  In a time when many clubs have no criteria or selection process for choosing coaches, the Starting 5ive maintains the highest stardards of integrity for our staff members. These standards are evident in all of our coaches’ appearance and demeanor, and in the ways they interact with our athletes, parents, and other coaches.  Significantly, all Starting 5ive coaches are volunteers who are offering their time not for personal or financial gain, but for the benefit of student-athletes who have the desire to become great collegiate basketball players.
